Commercial video production for ads people watch to the end.

Commercial video production is the making of advertising films: TV spots, online pre-roll and social ads that sell one thing in a few seconds. yop writes the concept and script, plans and runs the shoot, edits the master and delivers every version your media plan needs.

What we make

One idea, every screen it runs on.

01

TV spots

15, 30 and 60 second films with broadcast-ready masters in the specs your channel asks for.

02

Online and pre-roll

Ads that land the message before the skip button, with versions for YouTube, connected TV and display.

03

Social cut-downs

Vertical and square edits with captions, for feeds where most people watch with the sound off.

The deliverables

One shoot, five versions.

How it works

From one line to the final master.

01

Concept

Two or three ideas built on one message, each with a reference film.

02

Script and board

The words, the shots and the timing on paper, approved before anyone books a crew.

03

Shoot

Location, cast, crew and kit in one call sheet, shot in as few days as the script allows.

04

Edit

Picture, sound, music, grading and captions, with the rounds of changes agreed in advance.

05

Deliver

Masters and cut-downs in each channel’s format, named so your media buyer finds them.

Your ad

Start with the one line it has to say.

Tell us what the ad should sell and where it will run. We answer with a first concept and the shoot it needs.

Questions

Before the first take.

What does a commercial production company do?

It turns a brief into a finished advert: concept, script, storyboard, casting, the shoot, editing, sound and the final versions for each channel. At yop the same team also plans the landing page and the search side, so the ad and the site tell one story.

A simple spot can go from approved script to delivery in a few weeks. Casting, locations and approvals add time, and the proposal lists a date for each step.

No. A commercial sells one thing in a fixed slot, usually between 6 and 60 seconds. A brand film tells a longer story about the company and is often watched on its own.

Yes. Every shoot is planned for vertical and square frames as well, so the social versions use real framing, not a crop of the TV master.
