Business process automation services. Less copy-paste.

Business process automation services take the routine steps your team repeats every day, such as copying data between systems, chasing approvals or sending the same email, and let software do them. yop automates business processes from Tallinn with workflow tools, custom code and AI where it helps, and you own every workflow we build.

Automation

What does business process automation mean?

Business process automation means using software to carry out the steps of a process that follow rules: when an order arrives, create the invoice; when a form is sent, add the lead to the CRM and book the call; when stock drops below a level, order more. People keep the decisions, and software does the copying, checking and reminding.

The tools range from no-code workflow platforms such as Zapier, Make and n8n to custom code inside your own software. We pick the simplest tool that will still be dependable a year from now, and say so when a no-code tool is enough.

  • Workflow automation. Steps across apps, triggered by events: forms, orders, emails, dates.
  • Document automation. Quotes, contracts and reports generated from your data.
  • Data sync. The same customer, product and order data kept equal across systems.
  • AI steps. Reading emails and documents, sorting requests, drafting replies for review.

People

Will automation replace our team?

In the companies we work with, automation takes over the copying and chasing, not the people. The time goes back into work that needs judgement: talking to customers, fixing exceptions, planning. Every automation we build has a named owner in your team and a way to switch it off, and cases that don’t fit the rules land with a person instead of failing silently.

That last part matters most. An automation that breaks without anyone noticing is worse than the manual process, so every workflow has alerts and a log your team can read.

Questions

Asked about automation.

What does business process automation mean?

Business process automation is using software to perform the rule-based steps of a business process, such as moving data between systems, creating documents, sending reminders and routing approvals, so people handle only the decisions.

Pick the frequent, rule-bound chores people dread: lead handling, order-to-invoice, approvals and reporting. yop ranks them by hours saved and risk in the first workshop.

yop prices automation as a fixed price per phase after mapping the process. Running costs depend on the tool: platform fees, a robot licence or only hosting for custom code.

One workflow between tools with decent APIs is often running in days or a few weeks. Processes that cross several systems or need AI steps take longer and are split into phases.

Workflow automation connects systems through their APIs. RPA imitates a person clicking through screens, which helps with old systems that have no API but breaks more easily when the screens change.

Yes. We wire automations into CRMs, ERPs, accounting, email, online stores and marketplaces via their APIs, and write a connector where none exists.

It stops and hands the case to a named person with the details attached. Every run is logged, and an alert goes out when something fails.
